tunes i like tuesday: cascades

This week's tune is Cascades by Flakjakt (aka Steve Failows).  It's a catchy enough little song, but what caught my attention is that the video for it was filmed entirely on the new iPhone 4.  I'm impressed.  I think I'm the shit because I can Google on my Blackberry but I wouldn't even know how to begin to film a video on the dang thing if my life depended on it. (And if by the grace of God I did figure it out, we both know it'd be crap.)


Apparently, the song was written in 2 days, the video shot in 1.3 days (just how long is that?) and edited in 2 days. It's a collaboration between Failows and Marty Martin. Here's what Failows has to say about it....

In a fun weeklong experiment, my friend Marty and I collaborated on this video for an original song I wrote specifically for the iPhone 4 shoot. The overall goal was to produce a music video you can get down with - first and foremost - regardless of what camera we were shooting with. I think the end result turned out fantasmic! I hope you do to.
