welcome spring

i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
e.e. cummings

Ah, Spring, the most fickle of seasons and perhaps the most longed for, is finally here.  While we try our best to coax her into staying, I am not sure she's made up her mind just yet to grace us with her undivided attention.  Like an overeager suitor, we will take what pittance she gives us and will be thrilled with it though quietly we desire more.  Before we know it, Spring's beauty and appeal with be overshadowed by her sister, Summer, and our dalliance will be forgotten in the long, playful days Summer offers us. However, for today we sit and wait and want for more.

  4. I'm so ready for the warm blissful rays of spring sun. Winter can pack her stinkin' bags already (although I see snow in the forecast for next Monday again).

  5. I am ready for spring. Bring it on. I don't even mind the pollen that's started to show up right now, because I am just so incredibly tired of winter at this point. I'm ready to see some flowers bloom and some temperatures to rise - especially in the mornings. Stopping by from SITS!
